Tammy and John Maternity Session at Phoenix Park

If you remember not that long ago I photographed Tammy and John at the baby gender reveal. It was such a wonderful experience and the excitement from them and their family was amazing! Well, they are back! This time we went to Phoenix Park in Fair Oaks! We did a 3rd trimester session the other evening...and...OH MY GOODNESS! Lighting was amazing and they were amazing and the session went amazing. I love working with these two! They crack me up and keep me on my toes. Tammy was such a trooper getting up and down and John was such a huge help to her and I! I can't wait till the next time I see them because when I do it will be in the delivery room! 

Maternity session with Megan at UC Davis Arboretum

If you recall Megan came to me in February to have photos done to announce she is pregnant. Well she is back! I was so very excited to do a maternity session with her and could't wait to get to "work". She is due in October and has the most amazingly beautiful baby belly. (BTW I love love love baby belly!! gaahhhhhhhh so cute) Although it seemed like everything was against us taking these photos and we had a few hiccups before we actually got to it, we got some really great shoots in! We went to the UC Davis Arboretum for her session, both not knowing exactly what to expect since neither of us had ever been there before. Boy am I glad we went and took the chance! After all the hiccups the lighting had gotten pretty dark but we made it work! Next time we have to convince her husband to jump in the photos as well! :) Can't wait for our next session! 

Hoak Family Photos in Old Sacramento

This family made my job EASY EASY EASY!!! I loved every second of this photo session. The Hoak's are so fun and easy going it made the time fly by. Mrs. Hoak, Monica is so stunning and come on, that GORGEOUS colorful tattoo on her leg....what a dream! I can't wait to snap some more photos of this awesome family! Monica said I am "stuck with them", how ever I think it is the other way around, they are stuck with me! :) 

Hayes Family Photos in Old Sacramento

A while ago I had a Facebook contest. Families submitted their photo and gave a brief description as to why they should win. Photo and stories were then posted and the photo with the most likes after a week won a free session. Jessica emailed hers and WON! Jessica's story was this, "This is a picture of my family On 1/27/13. Myself, my fiance Andrew and our daughters Faith and Addison. Our girls are beyond amazing and special. I was born with a heart condition and pretty much my family never thought I'd have child let alone two that are healthy and happy and me making it threw as well. I'd love to win this photo contest for our littlest (Addison) I feel so horrible for not having done her pics yet when faith was 16 days old and she had hers done. Nor have I done faiths 1st bday pics :/ (they share the same bday btw) with time energy and money we have yet to make it a priority to do so but hey when you get an offer for free now that is a priority ;)" Little miss Faith was a trooper and a total cutie just soaking up the camera time! Little miss Addison tried her best to stay awake but sleep got the best of her, and as all mommies know...just let the baby sleep! haha

Josh and Melissa's wedding

On May 25th Josh and Melissa were married and I was lucky enough to capture all the tender moments shared on that beautiful day. This couple is obviously meant for each other and their love for each other shines bright. Congratulations Josh and Melissa!!
